Here's where it all started. at the age of 15, my mother gifted my sister and I our first cameras for our birthdays. We took them everywhere, and ever so quickly began my love of photography. As a college student, I never considered it a real career despite my deep passion for photographing individuals and things. I went into nursing, the safe route. Coming from a family of generational nurses, this was easy and and promised me a job in the end. After becoming a nurse, I quickly got burned out at the bedside.. I wanted to see people happy not in the condition they were in the ICU. Ive always been extremely empathetic. My husband and I then decided I stay home with our children and take on a more traditional house wife job while working online for my masters with an end goal of family nurse practitioner in mind. It wasn't til my daughter's second birthday that I dug out my old camera my mother had gifted me for my 15th birthday. I fell in love once again with taking photos, this time through capturing my children's most important milestones in life..
Combined with my joy for seeing others at their happiest. and my love of family, I started my career in professional photography.
Memphis native with a love for people and passion for motherhood that has driven me to this career in family photography and fine art portraiture.
